Greetings, My goal is to get some Rosetta WU. so far, no luck. It may be in preference choice. The web preferences give choices on how long a client wants a wu to run. But looking at my tasks, I see: Rosetta (0) · Rosetta Beta (0) · Rosetta Mini (0) · rosetta python projects (0) I had set a 2 hour task. No WU. I suspect this *might* be rosetta-mini I see some activity on "Rosetta" tasks. How do I set my preferences for these? Just use default? Is there an explanation somewhere? Thanks in advance, Jay |

Greetings,There is no work available at present, that's why you haven't got any. Grant Darwin NT |

Hi Grant, I realize that there are no WU now. In the past, I have seen work for 'plain' Rosetta. (But I received none.) Since I had selected 2 hour jobs, I may have been passed over since, maybe, that was Rosetta-mini. (Other projects have specific tasks to sign up for in there 'preferences' section. Not Rosetta) I was specifically looking for info on selecting different WU candidates. Any ideas on that? Thanks, Jay |

How long you set to run a Task for makes no difference. There are Rosetta or Rosetta Beta Tasks, there is no way to select one over the other. Grant Darwin NT |

Hi Grant, Do not Not NOT set runtimes to 2hrs. Set it to 8hrs - this is the default for Rosetta and ties in best with Boinc's scheduling ![]() ![]() |
